The Parsia team from MAPNA Pars Engineering and Construction of Generator Company has achieved second place in the “Economic Impact” category at the third edition of the MAPNA Group Design Thinking League 2026. 

The third edition of the competition brought together 18 teams from across MAPNA Group, competing in four main categories: Economic Impact, Innovative Solutions, Learning Leap, and Transformational Leadership. The participating teams developed and presented innovative ideas focused on the effective management and optimization of resources in response to economic challenges. 

Representing MAPNA Pars Generator Company, the Parsia team participated in the competition with a project addressing the challenge of managing wind turbine blade waste to support the transition toward a circular economy and reduce organizational costs.

  By applying the principles of Design Thinking, the team developed its solution through a structured process that included stakeholder empathy, problem reframing, ideation, prototyping, and solution evaluation. As a result, Parsia proposed an operational model aimed at transforming composite waste from an organizational cost and risk into a potential source of economic value creation. 

This valuable achievement was the result of strong teamwork, effective cross-functional collaboration, and the active participation of various departments within the company. The project benefited from the strategic guidance of Mr. Kharamani and the continuous support of Mr. Ehterami, Mr. Izadyar, and Mr. Bahrami. The collaboration of colleagues across different organizational units also played an important role in identifying the challenge, conducting field interviews, and developing and validating the proposed solution.
